HALO 3 (big news for hardcore fans)

G2K Games is taking reservations on the upcoming game Halo 3 for the Xbox360. You can place at least $5 down on any version you would like to pre-order and be able to receive a copy of the biggest game of the year the night it comes out at midnight. On Monday, September 24th at midnight G2K Games will reopen it doors for a very special midnight sale of Halo 3. The 3 different versions available will be the following:

Halo 3 regular edition $59.99 - Comes with just a copy of the game.

Halo 3 collector's edition $69.99 - Comes packaged in a metal case with special alternate cover and has a bonus dvd with behind the scenes features and more.

Halo 3 legendary edition $129.99 - Comes packaged in a limited edition box that contains the collector's edition, plus two extra bonus dvds (one features cutscenes from Halo 1 and 2 in HD) and has a replica of Master Chief's helmet (slighty bigger than the size of a cat's head).

It doesn't end there! On Monday, Spetember 24th G2K Games is sponsoring a 32 person Halo 2 tournament at the Cinemall in Abingdon, VA on their digital projection screen. The event will start roughly around 6pm. Afterwards those who wish will be able to pick up a copy of Halo 3 at the Cinemall at midnight! If you wish you may pre-order your copy of Halo 3 at the Cinemall instead of G2K Games for the midnight sale there. It'll be interesting to see how this one turns out .. it's going to be hard for Bungie to top both Halo and Halo 2, but all we've seen thus far is a TINY bit of single-player and feedback from the multiplayer beta a while back, so nobody is really for sure what exactly we'll be getting with this one.

If they do screw it up, there are going to be a LOT of PO'ed fans, I can assure you that much!

It shouldn't be too hard to top 2. It was too short and didn't end well at all.

Did you get to play the Beta, chubz? What'd you think?

Nah unfortunately I never even got in.. my brother made it into the Call of Duty 4 beta and it's pretty cool, but I didn't even get to sign up in time for Halo 3 so I missed it by a mile.

Anyone have the legendary reserved at G2K and decided not to get it? If so PM me as all 5 they got are reserved and I'd like to get it if your not going to.
